OUR VILLAGE
Horizon Village North Haven is a 50 + condominium development located in the community of North Haven in the City of Calgary. Located close to downtown Calgary, the Village offers its residents the best of the suburbs within minutes of the city.
Originally built in 1988, the Village consists of 29 units and an emenity building. Often the site of social gatherings, the amenity building also offers a pool table, a shuffleboard table, and a wide screen TV and DVD player. A kitchen and dining area offers residents the opportunity to host functions in more spacious surroundings for those larger family gatherings.
Our village, smaller than most Horizon Village developments offers a family feel to residents. We are a neighbourhood where small town values are still a part of daily life, and where being a neighbour means looking out for and taking care of each other.
OUR BOARD
The Horizon Village North Haven Board of Directors is elected each year at the Annual General Meeting in the fall. Due to the small size of our Village, it is not unusual for Board Members to serve terms for several years. In fact, most folks who live in the Village have, at one time or another, served as a Board member or been married to one! This makes the work of the Board so much easier, because it ensures that everyone in the Village, whether on the Board or not, has some insight and understanding of the work of the Board, and the complexities of managing our complex. The Board is assisted in its work by our property management company: Karen King & Associates.
